What Wavlo is
Wavlo is a marketplace where creators buy and sell short audio - SFX, transitions, drops, vocals, loops, ambient beds - for use in video and audio content. Sellers upload sounds. Buyers license them. We take a cut to keep the lights on.
What you get when you buy a sound
Every purchase grants you a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive royalty-free license to use the sound in your commercial content on any platform: YouTube, TikTok, Reels, Shorts, podcasts, ads, client work, live streams, films, games. No additional fees, no expirations, no platform restrictions.
What the license does not cover
You may not resell or redistribute the raw audio file. You may not upload it to another stock marketplace. You may not claim you created it. You may not sublicense it as a standalone asset. The sound is yours to use in your work - not yours to resell as a sound.
If you sell sounds
You must own all rights to anything you upload. If your sample contains someone else's recording, vocal, or composition, you must have written permission to license it commercially. Uploading copyrighted material you don't own will get your account terminated and may expose you to legal claims from the rights holder. We don't carry that risk for you.
Revenue split
Sellers keep 80% of every sale. Wavlo keeps 20% to cover payment processing, storage, hosting, review, and platform operations. Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect to your linked account.
Refunds
All sales are final. Digital goods are non-refundable once delivered - the moment you download a sound, you have it forever, so we can't unsell it. If something is genuinely broken (file won't play, wrong content, mislabeled) reach out and we'll make it right.
Termination
We can remove any sound and suspend any account that violates these terms - copyright infringement, abuse of the platform, fraudulent payment activity, or behavior that puts other users at risk. We'll tell you why.
Changes
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to your account address. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
